Franklin Dennison, son of Aaron Dennison & founder of pre Walthams, spent the greater part of his life building this collection. It was bequeathed to the Waltham Watch Co. in 1937. The collection was exhibited for many years throughout thr world at expositions and functions even the 1939 World's Fair in New York. Offered by the successor, the Waltham Precision Instrument Co.

Sold by Christie's, 253 lots and in virtually unused condition. The contents do not include any Waltham watches, so Neil can stop salivating. A duplicate from my massive library.

A RARE SALE, $50.00 ppd.

sold

FYI: This Coll was built by Aaron Dennison's son who spent the greater part of his life gathering watches for this collection. He bequeathed it to Waltham in 1937.

It was exhibited in many venues, inc. the 1939 World's Fair, BMFA, BMS, Smithsonian Inst, many scientific and historical institutions throughout the USA.

I have been told the most of the watches were is superb condition and in running order.

While there are quite a few photos in the catalog, none show the movement view.

Jon
