Since we didn't have switchers back in the day, was there a reason the English felt it necessary to put serial #'s on case, dial, and movt?
As Ray pointed out you can't switch any of these parts anyway! |

Well like a Pack Rat (a bushy-tailed rodent (Neotoma cinerea) of Western North America that has well-developed cheek pouches and that hoards miscellaneous objects.) I have been rummaging through my Spares etc. I now have a suitable High Domed Crystal c1820 and the under Dial Wheels. They are just loosely put in place for the photo. Next week I will be posting some complete Pocket Watches to show that everything I have are not all project Pocket Watches. I really enjoy bringing European-English Old Pocket Watches back to Life. I do tend to treat Pocket Watches as alive in an anthropomorphic (having human characteristics) sense. Regards Ray |
