I am looking for 18s storage boxes that usually hold 15 watches (the old ones hold fewer). New or old. Thanks, DA

Do not use those green ones from China--they are pure crap. Evil or Very Mad

Thanks Jim for the link. I had to alter the address but got there.

Jon, the green ones are about the only thing out there unless you have a secret stash you want to sell.

Thanks both.

Darrah, I stress patience, Find someone who has nice used ones--this exists.

I have used these for decades and wanted some of the old black ones to match what I had because they are easy to handle and fit nicely into the Safety Deposit vault at the bank. After a few years I found a large group from an old dealer--most were excellent condition, although a few had writing inside. I say be patient, use the old wooden jeweler ones, or advertise in the mart!

Tagline: I was given a few green ones at the Atwood auction in 2004; they were such garbage I threw them away. The glues doesn't stick, the sizes are slightly off (for stacking) and they have some finish that sticks--imagine what they might do to your watches?

Last add, Darrah, I do have a secret stash, but thy are filled with Rockfords! Wink

Darrah, Funny thing is that these can come from unexpected places--once at an auction of a well known collection nearly 3 decades ago I bought a large group of sexy and better group of 60+ some odd pieces and when I picked them up there was this great back case with lock and handle that was filled with "our" black divided trays we so covet.

Then, I was know as the west coast assassin; now, I have "switched" coasts! Laughing
