I guess the scrappers are happier they scrapped at prices up to $40.; BUT, how do the collectors feel?

All those nice silver KW and HC scrapped and gone forever......... Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil

Some of the guys who have a lot of watches already might not care much, but scrapping silver is horrible and stupid. Things of beauty destroyed for little return.
Scrap silver? Shit, find a real job.

I am happy about it.

It removes the incentive for cases to be scrapped. and it makes the watches a little cheaper to buy!!

In the long run those that remain will be worth more simply because there are less around.

Hopefully a point will be reached where the actual value of the silver will never warrant further scrapping.
