Hey Guys- Just trying to get these bidders mentality. Take a look at the bidding record on this watch.

YGF model 83 in a HC - up to $355 with a days to go. 50 bids! You got one moron bidding it up $2 at a time. The first bid from a different moron was for $2, then you got the third moron pushing it up $20 at a time.

Why do people even bid if they know they are not going to win?

There may be one shill bidder - but even then how they know how far to go??

Sometimes it amazes me of what goes on. I watched a 16s re-cased sidewinder Maximus in base metal case go like this for 2 days. 40 something bids. Sometimes I think it's a pissing contest between 2 bidders.
Sold for over $1500.00.

Daniel-

If this was the Maximus auction that ended Sunday night at 1am, it was because it was a lever set movement - they are very rare. I would have bid on it except I got too many notes to pay!

Neil it was that watch. I didn't know about the lever set being rare. So all is good.

Here's one just as mind-boggling: 10 day auction, 5+ days to go, up to $65.00, that's $65.00, with 56 bids Why do morons bid like that? Shocked

This was made both in the 99 model and the 08 model. They are really hard to find and when I do see them (I've seen 3 so far) I can't seem to get them or win them! I do need one of each.

Very Frustrating!

You won't get much joy on Ebay without pictures either in my humble opinion.

Just saying
