My '72 discussed above has flush screws but they are domed and uniform.
Ive seen that modification with some of the grades that went to the UK. |

LEDGER STATES:
Nickel Riverside Grade with 15j - adjusted - made sometime in 1893.
SO, it's not fake, IMO.
Movement is obviously original but the up jeweling work is not original! |

Jewel screws should always be flush or recessed from the back of the plate.
IF you look carefully there are no dimplemarks on the settings, but they are present on the plate itself. |

I prefer to use to use the term "Customized".
And yes, it is impossible to actually know if these were made by employees.
So - we'll go with Customized until proven otherwise. |

1st I can confirm the watch has only 16j. There is no lower center wheel jewel.
